The Home Instead Senior Care network has launched a program to honor the volunteer efforts of our unsung senior heroes. The Salute to Senior ServiceSM program will include a search for the most outstanding senior volunteer in Pennsylvania and culminate with the selection of a national Salute to Senior Service winner during Older Americans Month in May.

According to research conducted for the Home Instead Senior Care® network, lack of companionship is the biggest mealtime challenge for seniors.
