The Heartbeat of Home Instead Senior Care

It's one thing to have an idea - a dream for a company that is committed to its clients. It's quite another thing to find the dedicated people to help make that dream a reality. Home Instead Senior Care's professional CAREGivers are the heartbeat of our company. They are caring and compassionate. They fall in love quickly and go beyond the call of duty. All are screened, trained, bonded and insured. But most importantly, they are dependable and loving.

Our senior CAREGivers are provided with extensive MANDATORY training in our Basic and Advanced education program that includes the following:

  • Safety in the home
  • Senior Nutrition
  • Maximizing Communication
  • Recognizing Emergencies
  • Fall Prevention
  • Hospice Training

Customized Training: Personal Care, Alzheimer's Training, Activity Training

In addition, we provide our CAREGivers with on-going training on various subjects to enable them to better their skills and offer their elderly clients continuous quality care.

Personal Care training from a Registered Nurse includes assistance with personal hygiene, nutrition, monitoring medications, basic first aide and assisting an ambulatory client with mobility.

Our national award winning Alzheimer's Training Program for our CAREGvers offers a specialized approach of encouragement and assistance that helps family members cope with the challenges of Alzheimer's disease and dimentia.

In our Activities Training Program our CAREGivers learn to help engage a senior client in life, thereby increasing their feelings of self-worth, and reduce stress and depression. With assistance, seniors can continue activities they may have thought gone from their life. Staying active also helps seniors create balance and purpose in life.

Our office staff provides 24 hour supervision to those in the field. We assist clients and families to assess their needs and provide resources that enhance their lives. We advocate for our clients safety and well being with other services to ensure our clients' interests are being met. We are a team of dedicated people who work together for the betterment of our seniors and their families and people of all ages who need help to remain in their own homes.
