Greg and Karen Charyna
are the owners of Home Instead Senior Care in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Our personal experiences with our own parents inspired us to bring this service to Saskatoon. We understand that some circumstances of aging can be difficult for families and our desire is to help families prepare for the progressive stages of senior care and provide a trusted source of non-medical home care.
Karen and Greg opened Saskatoon's Home Instead Senior Care office in 2008. Greg (M.Div., M.Ed.) brings his 12 years of experience serving families in churches and Karen (M. Ed.) employs expertise through her previous work as a counselling psychologist. Helping families comes naturally to us.
Between the two of us we've seen our parents through a crippling car accident and two subsequent years of rehabilitation as well as stroke, arthritis, hip replacements and cancer treatment. This work is personal for us - we have experienced the roller coaster of caring for aging parents and know that families can teamwork to help parents remain independent and enjoy quality of life as they age in place.
We place a high priority on serving people with dignity and respect, providing the highest quality of service through a carefully selected and trained staff of compassionate CAREGivers. We are proud to bring this unique concept of non-medical home care for seniors to Saskatoon.
The Charynas live with their children in the Erindale community, attend Emmanuel Baptist Church, work out of Market Mall and never miss a Roughrider's game.
