Gavin and Priscilla Fernandes

As Franchise Owners, Gavin and Priscilla have caring as a second nature. They have always provided the highest quality care for all clients servicing and served. When choosing their administrative and caregiver team this couple looks for the same level of dedication as they share for senior care. With deep roots in culture and tradition where seniors are revered as a blessing and gift - caring for this couple is all about dignity and respect. Gavin bring a background in Information Technology and personal family caregiving while Priscilla has a Environmental Studies background with a major in Gerontology. A chance at providing care to someone's loved one according to Gavin and Priscilla is a privilege and honour and they thank all the families that have given them a chance to make their dream of caring for seniors a reality.

Hope Knight

Hope is our Community Service Representative and has a keen eye and attention to detail. She visits with potential clients and does an assessment of home care needs with a safety checklist; offering recommendations for care plans and changes to increase senior safety at home. Hope helps us match our clients and caregivers based on client needs, personal and cultural preferences; ensuring all new clients are introduced to their caregivers and are updated regarding the care plan right to a "T". Her sales background as well as a natural instinct for caring makes her ideal for this position. She is a true advocate for seniors who need assistance with Activities of Daily Living. She is active in the community and is involved in various charities; her way of giving back to the community. Hope - thanks for helping our clients maintain their independence and dignity!

Rosanne McDonald

Caregiver turned Quality Control Coordinator; Rosanne has a keen eye for standards and making sure all details are “The Home Instead Senior Care Way” Rosanne is responsible for Quality Control for the Franchise. She visits current clients and makes sure all their home care needs are being met and keeps the line of communication between the Clients, their families, the caregivers and the staff at the office. Rosanne’s interest in Home Instead Senior Care ignited when her father-in-law was placed in a long term care facility after being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. A desire to focus on our aging population, to make seniors feel, once again, an important and integral part of our society, became her third career. Respect, patience and compassion for others are traits that Rosanne values, values she has brought to Home Instead Senior Care. We thank Rosanne for being such an important part of our team, ensuring ALL our clients get the best possible care; The Home Instead Senior Care Way. Keep up the great work Rosanne!

Phillipa Vaz

Phillipa is our social media and website coordinator. She has a Bachelors in Environmental Studies. She has a background in the non-profit sector particularly fundraising and the environment. During her tenure at Home Instead Senior Care, she has worked on our franchise Workplace Safety Policies and ensures all guidelines are up to date. Her current position is maintaining our social media resources such as Facebook, Twitter and Blogs; updating our online visitors on local events in the community and senior care activities along with resource sharing related to senior care. Thanks for making sure we are all in the social loop Phillipa!

It was Paul and Lori Hogan’s own experience caring for Paul's grandmother in her home for 12 years that inspired them to launch Home Instead Senior Care in 1994. Realizing that there were others families like theirs that needed help to keep their loved ones safely living at home, they have devoted themselves to making home care available throughout the U.S. and around the world. It’s what they know and love, and their services allow them to make a real difference to communities, families and individuals everywhere.
