It All Started With Our Founders

Lori and Paul Hogan, Home Instead Senior Care Co-Founders
It was Paul and Lori Hogan’s own experience caring for Paul's grandmother in her home for 12 years that inspired them to launch Home Instead Senior Care in 1994. Realizing that there were others families like theirs that needed help to keep their loved ones safely living at home, they have devoted themselves to making home care available throughout the U.S. and around the world. It’s what they know and love, and their services allow them to make a real difference to communities, families and individuals everywhere.

Our CAREGiversSM Are at the Heart of It All

Our CAREGivers are residents of the local area who are carefully screened, fully bonded and insured. Each takes part in our exclusive multi-phase training and we place a high priority on matching our CAREGivers with our clients to help develop a bond that will foster independence, promote well being and support the senior’s needs with respect and dignity.

David McMillan

David McMillan is very proud to be the local owner/operator of the Home Instead Senior Care Franchise on Prince Edward Island. Born and raised on PEI, David grew up in Charlottetown. After graduating from UPEI with his BA and Public Administration Diploma, David recieved his BED from St. Thomas University in 1999. Over the next ten years, David taught school in both Summerside and Charlottetown. "I could not be any happier starting this new chapter in my life. Seniors have so much to offer and I am sure I will learn so much from them over the next number of years." With a fantastic team of CAREGivers and a great office staff David is confident the care provided to your loved one will help enhance their lives, where they want to be....their home.

Charlene Francis

Charlene joined Home Instead in May of 2006. She is responsible for our scheduling and placement of our CAREGivers with our clients, as well as many other tasks. She deals with situations in a very professional manner, and we are happy to have her as a contributing team member.

Brianna Robinson

Brianna joined our team in September 2011, and is handling all of our administrative needs. She works along side David and Charlene, and assists them anyway she can.

Who runs the office?

When you're ready for help, our caring staff is on call to quickly answer your questions and accommodate your senior services needs, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Charlene Francis has worked with Home Instead Senior Care since May of 2006 - she is the backbone of the office, there to answer any and all questions you may have about our services or our CAREGivers.
