Home Instead Senior Care
Port Coquitlam

"The unwavering service to Mom's well-being is of great comfort to me and my siblings.  As well, the lines of communication with the Home Instead office are always open, both when I have a question to ask or when changes to Mom's care have to be communicated to me.  Thanks again and keep up the good work."

Caring Is What We Do

Our goal has always been to provide the highest-quality care in the industry, and your local team shares the same vision of being your trusted partner in care. We demonstrate a real commitment to caring for seniors and derive personal satisfaction by responding to this critical need that is growing so rapidly.

Our CAREGiversSM Are at the Heart of It All

Our CAREGivers are residents of the local area who are carefully screened, fully bonded and insured. Each of them take part in our exclusive multi-phase training.  We place a high priority on matching our CAREGivers with our clients to help develop a bond that will foster independence, promote well being and support the senior’s needs with respect and dignity.

 Our Guiding Principles
The Home Instead Senior Care franchise network embraces the following core values
held by the Home Office and demonstrated by our commitment to seniors:
To honor God in all we do.
To treat each other with dignity and respect.
To encourage growth in ourselves and others.
To build value in our service to others.

Paul and Colleen

In January of 2002, Franchise Owners Paul and Colleen Tjosvold opened the local franchise here in the Tricities.  Over the past years, they have worked hard at building up a community of caring and dedicated CAREGivers who tirelessly serve the seniors of our local area.

Sharon

As the Director of Client Care, Sharon's responsibilities include meeting with potential clients and discussing options for their care.  She also frequently visits with the clients and their families in their homes to assure that we are delivering the highest quality of care that we strive for in every situation.

Evelyne

In her role as Director of Recruitment and Retention, Evelyne works hard at hiring and training just the right CAREGiver to suit the needs of our community.  She spends a great deal of time screening through hundreds of resume's to find the best of the best.

Francine

As the Director of Communication, Francine is responsible for all the scheduling, and makes sure that when a client needs a CAREGiver, they are there at the right time, doing exactly what is needed.  She works hard at finding the right match between each client and CAREGiver.

Angeline

Angeline is out and about in the community promoting Home Instead to anyone who needs or knows of someone who needs assistance in their home.
