When my Stephen fell and broke his neck in September of 2009, in the blink of an eye,..it changed our lives forever. I was instantly hit with so many decisions, I simply didn’t know which way to turn.

Our caregiver, Georgia, is a godsend! She helps to give us time apart from each other (which is so very necessary when you’re together almost 24/7). He looks forward to her coming to take him out for walks, and so do I! We were told at one point that Stephen would never walk again. Neither he nor I would accept that and with the help of very good therapists and continued help from HISC, he IS walking (not constantly, of course) but we believe that if he can continue to receive this help that he so badly needs,…he will walk again with very limited aid. Georgia also helps me when I need it! I tell everyone about her and Home Instead Senior Care!

I just wanted to thank the Home Instead staff for helping us through a very difficult year. My sisters and I weren't sure how we were going to keep my dad in hospice care after my mom broke her wrist and was unable to assist herself, let alone him, in many of their daily tasks.
Home Instead was there for us, always willing to work out the ever changing details, as events and needs unfolded. Your kindness and support, as well as the lovely ladies you sent to assist our mom, were truly a blessing.
Our mom became especially close to Viola. The day our dad passed away, Viola still came to be with her, as we worked with hospice through the final arrangements. Viola was able to focus totally on our mom and her needs, which allowed us to focus more on dad throughout his time of care.
Your staff was always understanding and reliable. We knew we could depend on you for any need that would arise and it was a great comfort to us. We really cannot say enough good things about the help and support we received from Home Instead.
