Your Home Instead Senior Care franchise owners possess a heartfelt desire to work with seniors in their community. It's the reason why they were chosen to serve seniors and their families right here in Portland Oregon. Learn more about their passion for making a difference in the lives of seniors in your community.

We are the owners of Home Instead Senior Care located in Portland Oregon. For many years my wife and I both felt a very strong desire to not only one day own our own company, but to also find a path that would lead us to helping other people, guiding a team and most importantly, better our community. I had the wonderful opportunity to care for my grandfather for a little over 2 years while in college. That experience forever changed my life, an experience that ultimately led me to owning this rewarding business. During our amazing path and discovery of the Home Instead Senior Care business, Aimee and I have been reminded, almost daily, that this is our fate. Aimee has even coined our extraordinary journey and experience as our "Our God Moment". We feel we've found the perfect ingredients to our dream in this amazing opportunity with Home Instead Senior Care. Furthermore we full heartedly believe in Home Instead Senior Care and the Core Values established by the founders Paul and Lori Hogan.

·         Honor God in all that we do

·         Treat each other with dignity and respect.

·         Continue to grow the value of our service

·         Encourage growth in ourselves and in others

We have also created our office "Vision" for our Portland location, we hope that it aligns with your desire and needs from an in-home senior care company.

Our Vision:

To ENHANCE

the lives of families in our community.

By Building

quality relationships with those that we touch and the

CAREGivers that we employ.

Our SUCCESS

will be measured in their peace, joy, security and trust in us.

We are so very blessed and love helping those that need us most, our seniors! To us, it's personal.

Warmest Regards

Preston & Aimee

Our Home Instead Senior Care family!

Jaye is our Service Supervisor and has worked with Home Instead Senior Care since 2000. She is responsible for ensuring that all of our clients have the best experience with Home Instead Senior Care.

My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, emphasizing Gerontology and a minor in Dance from Western Oregon University as well as a teaching credential in the California Adult School for Exercise and Dance, Self-Development and Self-Maintenance Skills with older adults. I have been a teacher and have worked with and for Seniors for over 20 years. I find the greatest satisfaction in enhancing Senior's lives by helping them have healthier, happier and more active lives.

In my personal life I am a working musician and singer and have performed extensively in the Portland and Salem areas, with several recordings released. The hobbies that I enjoy are yoga, textile design and spending time with my boyfriend Steven and my dog Sophie Luna Moona.

Karen is one of our Client Relations Managers and has worked with Home Instead Senior Care since 2006. She is responsible for Quality Assurance Visits, Client and CAREGiver introductions and meeting with clients and family members to introduce them to our services.

I have lived in the Portland area all my life and most of my family is still in the area as well. My Grandma Ward was a big part of my life growing up, and in her later years I was fortunate enough to help in caring for her when Alzheimer's came into her life, and in turn ours. Grandma brought so many things into my life, teaching me daily skills, how to be kind to others, how to enjoy the simple things and many memories of the great lady that she was. I truly love working with our clients.  Seeing the smile on their faces, listening to the stories they have to share and knowing we are able to help them with their daily needs. When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my 2 children and weekend getaways to places in the Northwest.

Natalie is one of our Client Relations Manager and has worked with Home Instead Senior Care since 2009. She is responsible for Quality Assurance Visits, Client and CAREGiver introductions and meeting with clients and family members to introduce them to our services.

I moved to Oregon from California four years ago with my husband of 24 years and my three children, Justin, Haley and Hannah. I love camping, hiking and spending quality time with my family.

My years of experience with helping others have primarily been in the school system where I discovered my passion of making a difference in the lives of others. After obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development, I felt the need to help seniors.  The best part about working for Home Instead Senior Care is the personal joy and fulfillment of meeting seniors, hearing their stories, and seeing how happy they are because of the services we can provide for them.

Jennifer is our CAREGiver Recruitment and Retention Coordinator and has worked for Home Instead Senior Care since 2008. She is responsible for finding, training and retaining our wonderful CAREGivers.

I began working with seniors right out of college. First, with a home care agency, and then with hospice. My passion for seniors stems into my personal life, as I still see my  own grandmother weekly; a routine we have kept for several years. While obtaining my degree in Social & Human Services I spent a lot of time with the homeless population, transitional housing, and troubled youth. I have a general love for people and service to others. When I am not working I love camping, Oregon football, my dog Samson, dancing, and ANY arts & crafts!

Heidi is our Staffing Coordinator and has worked with Home Instead Senior Care since 2009. She is responsible for creating that perfect match between our clients and CAREGivers.

I grew up in Las Vegas, NV and recently moved to Oregon to be near family and have fallen in love with Oregon and all its nature! I began working with seniors about 8 years ago at an Assisted Living facility as a Med Aide and Caregiver and then moved on to a Home Care Agency as a Staffing Assistant Manager until I relocated. I enjoy being involved in the quality of life for seniors! I've been married 9 years to a wonderful and supportive man and together we have an 8 year old son who is the highlight of our lives! I am so happy to be part of such a wonderful company and look forward to my future with Home Instead Senior Care!

Bob is our Community Service Representative and has worked with Home Instead Senior Care since 2006. He is responsible for building relationships with Hospitals, Senior Centers, Rehab Facilities and Health Care Facilities.

Since 1984, I have worked very closely with the senior community and their families. First as a Medical Equipment Specialist, involved in the provision of custom seating and mobility products for people with disabilities. When I joined the Home Instead team in February, 2006, it became immediately apparent that this is where I wanted to spent the remainder of my working years. Listening to the life stories of seniors is something I have found to be both enjoyable and educational. So, for me it is an honor to be a member of an organization that it dedicated to enhancing the the lives of the seniors in our community. Life has been good to me. I have been blessed with a wonderful wife Sue, who I find new reasons to fall in love with every day. My sons, Ryan and Rory have enriched my life in more ways than I can ever measure. My hobbies include music and baseball, as well as hiking and other outdoor activities just to name a few.

Gretchen is our Bookeeper and has been working for HomeInstead Senior Care since 2008.

I have 10 years of office experience assisting in accounting and other clerical duties. My family has always been my passion. I have three sons and two grandchildren. My oldest son has been in Iraq since 2001 and we are hoping he will be coming home by the end of this year.Three years ago my husband and I moved into my parents home to help my father take care of my mother with Alzheimer's. My hobbies are creating stain glass windows, gardening, cooking and being active outdoors.
