Home Instead Senior Care prides itself in helping seniors maintain their independence. The holidays can be a tough time for the elderly because of their inability to get out of their homes and enjoy the satisfaction of shopping and browsing through their local malls or shopping centers.
This year, Home Instead Senior Care of Birmingham, Michigan is proud to offer their Shopping with Home Instead Package. This shopping experience allows a senior to be pampered for a few hours during a weekday afternoon to do some shopping at one of Troy, Michigan's major shopping attarctions: The Somerset Mall or the Oakland Mall.

2011 Holiday Shopping Package Includes:
- Professional companionship from one of Home Instead Senior Care's CAREGivers
- Roundtrip transportation to and from either the Somerset Mall or the Oakland Mall
- Assistance with shopping, browsing, and carrying bags
- Lunch at any restaurant within the mall
2011 Package Costs $160.00
Troy and Birmingham Chamber members and senior center members receive a $20 discount.
Holiday Shopping Packages can be scheduled in 2011 on December 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, and 23. Shoppers can be picked up at either 9:30 or 10:30 a.m. and will be returned home by 2:30 or 3:30 p.m. respectively. Additional service hours can be purchased at our standard hourly rates. All Shopping Packages must be booked four days in advance. CAREGivers can accommodate shoppers requiring wheelchair or other mobility assistance. Payment is due at booking. Shopper has the option to be driven in their own vehicle or in CAREGiver's vehicle.
