To the Staff at Home Instead,
I want to take a moment to thank you for your services. After my car accident in July, I was unable to take care of some basic daily needs and Forms was my aide. He is wonderful. He is courteous, prompt, knowledgeable and gentle. I could not have asked for any better care.
When I no longer needed personal care, I still could not drive and I was in need of someone to drive me to work. The lady you provided to do that was always on time and polite.
On more than one occasion I had a need to call the office and ask for a change in my schedule on short notice. I really appreciate you accommodating those request, too.
My first experience with Home Instead was a couple of years ago with my parents. When I needed home health care, I did not think twice about calling you and did not consider anyone else. If you ever need a recommendation, please feel free to share this letter with prospective clients.

You made taking care of my father for the last 9 months of his life very comfortable. It was so important for him to be at home and you made that possible. Effie showed exceptional care when with my father day in and day out - she was extraordinary - in grace and ease in which she handled everything from the simplest to the most difficult. Please express my appreciation to all at Home Instead, Birmingham office. From the minute I called you with an urgent need for home care, through all the days that followed, the care and service you provided has been exceptional.
My mother's needs have been met at every level by your kind, caring, and responsible care givers. There wasn't a single one that came through her door that didn???t do her best to meet my mother's needs in a difficult time. The 24-hour care we started with when she came home from hospital was a brand new experience for my mom, and it went beautifully. Since then, reducing hours of care has been so easy to schedule with your office, and continues to be a blessing for my mom and all of us.
Your immediate response to our urgent need for 24-hour care was amazing, and trouble free for us. I still cannot believe how quickly you put the arrangement together for us. The service you have provided us ever since has been so reliable and the relationships my mom has formed with all her care givers a blessing.
Mom has healed quickly and I am sure that is partly because she has been helped so much by all at Home Instead. Thank you to all involved in the journey, from the first phone call on.

Helping Seniors, with a Little Help from a Friend

Although skeptical at first about whether my mother needed 3 hours a week of care, I???ve become a believer. My whole family is so pleased with the wonderful care & friendship that Diane Stowers has provided for her.
At 85, my mom is of very sound mind and really hates the loss of independence that macular degeneration & COPD has brought with it and it was very hard for her to be dependent on family. So Diane has been a Godsend, showing up every week so mom can schedule errands, doctor appointments and shopping, or just being there to read the small print on the week???s accumulation of mail or help change sheets and do laundry. Mom has truly come to treasure Diane as a friend as well as a helper.
Thank you so much for providing this service! And we are so happy that you sent Diane to our mother. May 2008 be a very good year for you!
