Parkinson Support Center of Kentuckiana (PSCKY)

The Parkinson Support Center of Kentuckiana (PSCKY) is the only non-profit organization serving people with Parkinson’s disease and their loved ones in more than 45 counties in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. We provide education, information, referrals, support and services to people living with Parkinson’s disease through one-on-one contact, more than 20 monthly support groups, a regional symposium on Parkinson’s disease, and an extensive resource and lending library. PSCKY also promotes public awareness through an outreach and screening program, trains paid caregivers to provide high quality care for people with Parkinson’s disease, and contributes to the local and national efforts to raises funds for effective therapies and a cure.

The Alzheimer's Association of Kentucky & Southern Indiana

The Greater Kentucky/Southern Indiana Alzheimer's Association provides services to 125 counties across greater Kentucky and southern Indiana. Over 85,000 residents in our service area are affected by some form of dementia. Programs and Services provided to families and people with dementia include a 24 hour helpline; support groups; educational programs designed or caregivers, professionals and general education for the community; a speaker's bureau; a lending library with over 500 resources, including books, videos, DVDs and CDs; advocacy at all levels of government; and a newsletter.Read more
