We are very proud of our CAREGivers that provide service to our clients in the South Hills and/or Washington County. This diverse group of men and women has come from many fields of professionalism: teacher, lawyer, social worker, author, business owner, retired RN, professional ice skater, retired CEO of a successful business, pastor, mothers of young children and those experiencing an "empty nest". This profession allows the CAREGivers to choose their own schedules to accommodate their lifestyles.

Each and every CAREGiver is as individual as the clients they serve but all have one common bond; a caring and compassionate heart and the desire to assist older adults in their homes. Success to a Home Instead CAREGiver is seeing a smile on the face of their client, the joyful relief expressed by families that know their loved one is now safe, supervised, and provided with empathy and specialized care.

Our CAREGivers are required to complete progressive and ongoing training such as:

• Basic and Advanced CAREGiver training
• Safety
• Personal Care
• Alzheimer's Disease
• CPR & First Aid

Home Instead Senior Care provides additional training sessions regarding Parkinsons Disease, Understanding Hospice and Its Role and many other topics.
