Home Instead Senior Care® works very hard to keep rates as affordable as possible. Please note that rates and hours vary by location and the services provided. Rates for individuals for Companionship, Home Helper and Personal Care Services are per hour, depending on the services needed. Service can be arranged for as little as 3 consecutive hours in a day or as many as 24 hours per day, seven days a week, including holidays and weekends. We accept payment for our services from private pay, long term care insurance, workman's compensation insurance, Medicaid (Community Long Term Care - Personal Care 2 and Head & Spinal Cord Injury Attendant Service), Trident Area Agency on Aging (grants), the Veteran's Administration and the Alzheimer's Association (grants).
Hourly Rates
A minimum of two days a week with 4 consecutive hour visits, or three days a week with 3 consecutive hour visits. The fee per month for this service would be about $550 to $650.
Flat Rates
We offer discounted flat rates for 24-hour fully awake care and "live-in" caregivers.
Insurance Coverage
Some long term care insurance policies cover certain in-home services, typically assistance for activities of daily living (bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, transferring and continence assistance), and caregiving assistance for seniors with a cognitive decline . Please call our office to see if your insurance benefits include this type of coverage.
