As one of our senior partners in the area Home Instead Senior Care would like to make you aware of a worthy project we are hosting.   We are excited about the impact we can have on our environment, and the safety of the Seniors in our valley.  There will be notifications in the local papers about this event, but since you are our target audience we wanted you to be aware, and help us promote it.
The Hemet office of Home Instead Senior Care, in cooperation with the Hemet Police Department, and the Drug Enforcement Agency, has scheduled Mission MedicineSM for April 30th  from 10am to 2pm to help seniors dispose of expired or no longer used medications.  The event will be held at the Home Instead Senior Care office at 414 S. Palm Avenue, Hemet Ca 92543.  Seniors or their family members can simply drive up to the location where the Hemet Police Department will be on hand to oversee the drop-off of medications into a locked container.  After the event, the medications collected by the DEA will be properly disposed.
“This program is a way to help protect seniors from accidentally using expired medications as well as safeguarding them from the potential for theft of medications from their homes,” said Jason Baker, owner of the local Home Instead Senior Care franchise.
