The staff at Home Instead Senior Care Boston North

We are your trusted provider of comprehensive companionship and non-medical home health care services for seniors.  We can assist the senior in your life with homemaker tasks (cleaning, laundry, errands, etc.), hands on personal cares (bathing, ambulation, grooming, etc.), and many other other home care services.

We place a high priority on matching our CAREGivers with the client. We believe that relationships based on trust must be established. The bond that develops is one that fosters independence, promotes well-being, and supports the senior's needs with dignity. We can be your eyes and your ears. And we do it all with a heart.

When you're ready for help, our caring staff is on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week to quickly answer your questions and accommodate your senior services needs. We will to arrange for the most appropriate care...and look forward to doing so!


Ross Capobianco, President

Ross joined Home Instead Senior Care in 2003. Prior to joining Home Instead, Ross worked for 10 years in the technology field, most recently at Verizon Communication as a marketing director. Ross sees his mission as helping to improve the quality of life for each of the clients that his team serves. An avid runner and history enthusiast, Ross enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys when he is not working.

Wendy Flynn, Client Care Coordinator

As one of two client care coordinators at Home Instead Senior Care, Wendy plays an important role in terms of setting up clients with new services. Wendy also oversees Home Instead’s relationship with Mystic Valley Elder Services. Prior to entering the field of senior home care, Wendy worked as a project manager.

Susan Doherty, RN

Susan works as our Community Nurse Liaison. Susan brings considerable experience as both a marketing professional and nurse. Prior to Home Instead Senior Care, Susan worked with In-House Physicians, a concierge medical provider. Her marketing experience has been in television and advertising. Susan will be working with various community outreach providers to promote Home Instead’s services.

Marion Garfinkel, R.N. Quality Assurance

With over 30 years of nursing experience, Marion is the “Dean” of senior home care. Marion helps to ensure service quality by visiting clients and their families in their homes. She is also an avid speaker on clinical topics and general wellness.

Jennifer Knoll, Staff Coordinator

Jennifer brings considerable experience to her role as Home Instead Senior Care’s staff coordinator. Jennifer worked previously at a Home Instead Senior Care office as a caregiver and also has past experience in scheduling and as an on-call supervisor.

Lisa Rivera

Lisa initially joined Home Instead Senior Care as a caregiver. Subsequently, she joined the office team as our recruitment and retention coordinator. Prior to Home Instead, Lisa worked for many years in retail management. In addition, Lisa has also worked as a volunteer at Mystic Valley Elder Services’ money management department which assists frail seniors with managing their finances.
