With the current state of the economy, lonely and financially challenged seniors need assistance more than ever. Home Instead Senior Care's signature event, the "Be A Santa to a Senior" program, was established to brighten the lives of low-income and isolated seniors during the holiday season.
The Home Instead Senior Cares franchise network partners with local companies to facilitate the donation and purchase of Christmas gifts, which are then distributed to a community's seniors. In the past five years, the programs 90,000 volunteers have distributed over 1 million gifts to 700,000 seniors.
