Todd and Catherine Vaughan, Owners of Home Instead Senior Care-Marin County
Catherine spent 25 years of her career in project development, financing a multitude of senior housing, assisted living, and skilled nursing care projects and was very excited to be able to move to the personal side of the senior care business. Todd spent the first part of his career in the automotive industry managing large departments, budgets, and staff. His management skills are an advantage in the hiring, retention, and leadership of a large staff of CAREGivers. As a team, they conduct initial client consultations, provide regular quality assurance visits with clients, stay abreast of industry news and events and oversee the day to day operations of the business. Katie Nagle, Staffing and Training Coordinator
Katie found her calling as she was helping take care of her grandfather in early 2004. Her family had hired Home Instead Senior Care to provide respite care. Katie coordinated the work of the assigned CAREGiver, learned care techniques, and enjoyed the work that came so "naturally". With the encouragement of the CAREGiver, she was convinced that caring and working with the elderly was the career for her. Katie studied and received her CNA, HHA & EMT licenses. She was hired by Home Instead Senior Care as a CAREGiver in 2004 and most recently became the staffing and training coordinator for our Marin County office. Katie’s skills and knowledge are a tremendous resource to our CAREGivers in the field. Erika Vaughan, Market Research Coordinator Erika recently graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Psychology and she has joined the Home Instead Senior Care family business.
