Maureen Sylvester has been a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care since April 2005. She became a CAREGiver because of her mother in Miami. She noticed the need when they could not get any help for her. She knew this would be a rewarding experience to help others to help themselves. Five years ago she meet a lady in the supermarket that worked as a CAREGiver with Home Instead and told her she should check into it. She has truly enjoyed her job ever since. She loves to see the smiles on her clients faces when she comes in the room. It is one way they show her they love her and appreciates everything she does for them. Maureen is a mother of two boys, two girls, and has two grandchildren who live in Seattle. Her husband is a professor at Oakwood University. She enjoys reading sewing, and baking. She also loves to entertain with company.
Maureen was honored with a plaque at The Annual CAREGiver Appreciation Celebration.
