Home Instead Senior Care
Nashville – West and South

I want to thank you so much for your attention to detail and let you know how very much we appreciate the flexibility of your staff. Every caregiver you have sent our way has been especially wonderful, professional and most of all caring. We find the caregivers easy to work with and enjoy their company as much as my mom does.

Your Home Instead Senior Care franchise owners possess a heartfelt desire to work with seniors in their community. It's the reason why they were chosen to serve seniors and their families.

When you're ready for help, our caring staff is on call to quickly answer your questions and accommodate your senior services needs.

Owners - Beth Shelton and Drew Shelton

The owners are a mother and son team. Beth and Drew realized the tremendous need for non-medical homecare when they were forced to place Beth's father (Drew's grandfather) in a nursing facility. It was such a devastating time for them that they decided to investigate the options. Home Instead Senior Care was the answer and they started the Nashville franchise in August, 1998. Although it was too late for her father they have provided "a little help from a friend" to hundreds of seniors. Family values run deep with Beth & Drew, so they spend as much time as possible with their families, children & grandchildren.  Their leadership, passion & desire to help seniors in the Nashville community are what keep driving the office staff & CAREGivers, day after day.  Because of their strong family ties & experience with Beth’s father, to the Shelton’s, it’s personal.

Service Coordinator - Teri Pellett

Teri is a retired RN and a very valuable asset & resource for Home Instead.  After taking time off caring for her terminally ill mother, Teri wanted to re-enter the workforce by making a difference in the quality of life for seniors.  Teri is achieving this goal by being an intregral part of the Home Instead Senior Care team. She is responsible for scheduling a professional CAREGiver with our clients. Teri does an excellent job of matching the best CAREGiver to meet our client's needs. Because of her expertise, she also facilitates all of our training & orientations.  She joined us in May, 2007.  While her commitment to Home Instead Senior Care, our clients & CAREGivers is 24/7, Teri does enjoy scrapbooking & spending time with her precious grandchildren.

Client Care Coordinator - Cindie Markle

After joining the Home Instead Senior Care team in August, 2003, in Lubbock, TX, Cindie realized her devotion to seniors was not restricted to the West Texas area.  With an opportunity to move to Nashville, Cindie brings to us experience that proves the value of a world wide network.  Her passion educates the community about the excellence of Home Instead Senior Care’s services.  She also helps clients & their families coordinate services and assures quality care is being delivered.  Cindie loves Nashville & enjoys learning more about the area with her 2 children.

Administrative Assistant - Frankie Jaynes

Frankie comes to us with a background in Administration Management in the Office Equipment Industry and strong experience in Real Estate Office Management. This administrative background has been invaluable in assisting our clients as well as our staff.  Frankie has taken on the role of Administrative Assistant here at Home Instead Senior Care and has proven to be a great asset to our company.  Included in her responsibilities are the day to day billing & payroll for all our clients & CAREGivers as well as creating our newsletters. Frankie is an avid reader & gardener.  She enjoys her family & is a very proud grandmother, just ask her.

Retention Recruitment Coordinator - Nancy Hicks

Nancy joined the Home Instead Senior Care team in October, 2011. Nancy is the first voice and heart of our company. She is always friendly and professional with every applicant, CAREGiver, Client and Family member that she encounters. Nancy is responsible for recruiting & retaining the highest quality CAREGivers in the industry. Her diligence in this area contributes greatly to the success of our quality.  Nancy’s work ethic exudes when you meet her & no one is surprised when they learn she also works part time, in the evenings for a local bank & is a volunteer for a local Hospice. Although her free time is limited, she cherishes that time with her husband & 2 children.
