Owner, Cathy Murphy
Cathy Murphy has lived and served in San Francisco for many years and understands the needs of seniors in the city. She currently sits on the Board of Directors of Curry Senior Center, a community organization offering medical treatment, counseling, and meals to low-income and frail seniors who need assistance. Cathy is also an active member of the Board's Human Resource committee. Furthermore, she is a board member for Rose Court in San Francisco.
Additionally, Cathy actively participates in the San Francisco chapter of the Women Presidents' Organization , an international organization for women entrepreneurs.
As a frequent presenter to local health, business, and community organizations, Cathy is an expert on the issues of aging, especially for those who wish to remain in their own homes as they age. She has presented to numerous groups including all local hospitals, The Commonwealth Club, YMCA and many more.
"Thank you both for speaking at the Commonwealth Club of California. You held everyone's attention the entire hour with the timeliness and engaging delivery of your message. It is a blessing for people to gain information about living with Alzheimer's from professionals instead of learning the 'hard way' -- in an emergency. It was obvious that the audience enjoyed your talk as evidenced by how many remained after the Q&A session to compliment you. Thanks again for addressing the Grownups Forum of the Commonwealth Club of California."
-- John W. Milford, Executive Director, San Francisco Towers
