The Home Instead Senior Care network has launched a program to honor the volunteer efforts of our unsung senior heroes. The Salute to Senior ServiceSM program will include a search for the most outstanding senior volunteer in Oregon and culminate with the selection of a national Salute to Senior Service winner during Older Americans Month in May.

The Central Oregon office of the Home Instead Senior Care® network, the world's largest provider of non-medical in-home care and companionship services for older adults, has partnered with Aspen Ridge Retirement, BendBroadband, Central Oregon Council on Aging, Fox Hollow Independent and Assisted Living, Heart Center Cardiology Employees, News Talk 1110 KBND, Partners in Care, Redmond Health Care, St. Charles Home Health Services, and St. Charles Lifeline for the Be a Santa to a Senior program, which provides gifts and companionship to seniors who otherwise might not receive either this holiday season.
