Elk Grove Park District Sheila Ray Adult Center

The Sheila Ray Adult Center is a center for adults 55 and better.  It is a friendly, active center that has many programs, services and special events for all.  Bowling, bingo, card playing, movies, walking club and different types of crafts are some of our great activities. Even if you are unable to drive, transportation to the Sheila Ray Adult Center is just a phone call away.

Our community based, not-for-profit organization "helps people feel good, do better, and find solutions". A variety of programs provide assessment, counseling, psychiatric, recovery, and support services for people like these:

Village of Arlington Heights Senior Center

Each day, over 500 people age 55 and over attend the 42,000 square foot Arlington Heights Senior Center. Our amenities include an indoor walking trail, woodshop, café, computer lab, reading room, billiards, gift shop, a lending closet of durable medical equipment and the Arlington Athletic Club. The Senior Center publishes a bimonthly newsletter. Services are also provided to homebound senior citizens. The Senior Center's unique organizational structure of eight senior service agencies located under one roof allows our patrons to take advantage of "one-stop shopping." Through these eight organizations, more than 12,000 senior citizens and their families are served each year.

Arlington Heights Nurses Club Lending Closet

The Nurses Club "Lending Closet" is operated by the Arlington Heights Nurses Club.  It provides durable medical equipment such as walkers, canes, wheelchairs, crutches, toileting and bathing assistance equipment at no charge for Arlington Heights residents.
