Home Instead Senior Care
Oklahoma City

I want to thank you so much for your attention to detail and let you know how very much we appreciate the flexibility of your staff. Every caregiver you have sent our way has been especially wonderful, professional and most of all caring. We find the caregivers easy to work with and enjoy their company as much as my mom does.

Sue Loftis

Owner/Operator

Traveling the world in a military family prepared Sue Loftis for her life as an entrepreneur and helped her form the philosophy she lives by today – wherever you are, be there. Sue’s compassionate and caring nature led her to pursue a career as an R.N., where she worked in both the intensive care and cardiac rehabilitation. Sue also is Certified Case Manager and has worked independently, for insurance companies and as a consultant for the US Postal Services. In need of a change but with the desire to help others deeply ingrained, Sue decided in 1999 to open a Home Instead Senior Care franchise in Oklahoma City. The service she provides to the local senior community allows seniors to age in place in their own homes, where they feel comfortable and safe. Sue’s son, David, joined her in the business in 2005, and today they proudly employ 155 CAREGivers and, most importantly, continue to help area seniors remain safely in their homes as they age.

David Loftis

Owner/Director of Marketing

David Loftis has a degree in community health and has been the co-owner of Home Instead Senior Care for more than five years. He currently serves on the Board of the Alzheimer’s Association Oklahoma/Arkansas Chapter, Area-wide Aging Agency and Sunbeam Family Services. He is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City, member of Downtown Rotary, Oklahoma State Fair Committee for “Senior Day at the Fair,” “Be a Santa to a Senior” and the chair of the OKC Memory Walk 2010.

Richard

Richard met Sue Loftis, owner of the Home Instead Senior Care office in Oklahoma City, in 2005. They were married a year later and built their dream home in Oklahoma City, where they currently reside. Richard retired from his job with a local automotive manufacturing company in 2002 to care for his first wife, who was battling cancer. When he’s not working at Home Instead Senior Care, he enjoys cycling, woodworking, gardening and spending time with his three daughters, their husbands and his 4 granddaughters.

Teresa

Recruitment & Retention Coordinator

Teresa came to work for Home Instead in 2006. A Certified Nursing Assistant, she began working as a CAREGiver in clients’ homes. In 2009, she accepted the position of Recruitment and Retention Coordinator. When asked what she enjoyed about being a CAREGiver, Teresa said "you make a difference in people’s lives every day." It’s that special insight that makes her so good at her job. Teresa has four great children and a wonderful husband. When she’s not working at Home Instead Senior Care, you will probably find her fishing at Lake Eufaula where she and her family like to hang out.

Daina

Daina, who has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2009, truly believes in the work we do. Owner Sue Loftis says Daina “is fantastic, smart and has a big heart.” Daina is an avid sports fan and has been playing soccer for more than 20 years. Although she grew up in Oklahoma, Daina plans to one day move to Nevada where she and her sister often travel together.
