On behalf of my family I would like to express my sincere appreciation for the care you rendered my parents, Mary and Joe, for an 11 month period (Februay through December of 2008). Relocating them from their home in Chicago in the fall of 2007 was a difficult, but necessary, move and the ensuing health challenges which they both faced made it difficult for myself and other family members to provide for their needs. Thanks to Home Instead we were able to allow them to remain in a home setting with assistance from a variety of wonderful caregivers. I was so impressed with the caring diligence and professionalism your staff gave Mom and Dad. They all took a genuine interest in them and made an effort to get to know them for the wonderful people that they were.

They consistently communicated with me over matters dealing with diet; medication, and their overall well being. I had great peace of mind knowing that your care givers were looking out for them. Special thanks to Lisa staffing coordinator for her efforts with paring Mom and Dad with the most compatible care givers. She is an angel!  Lorraine took Mom and Dad in as family and was wonderful with them.  Jackie was an exceptional care giver who provided me with very accurate insights to the challenges my parents were dealing with in the fall. During their last weeks in the home the patience and understanding of Anna Marie and Beau was commendable.

I cannot say enough about the service which you offer seniors to help them live as independent a life as possible. Thanks to your efforts my mother and father were able to spend their last days in an atmosphere of dignity, love, and respect, and for that we are forever grateful. Keep up the good work!

I have started this letter many times and I always have trouble finding a way to express how much you, Maggie, Leticia and Tammy and everyone from Home Instead helped me and dad during his last year.

Thank you doesn't seem to say enough.
        
Without all of you I don't think dad would have recovered from pneumonia last December. Your wonderful service allowed him to get out of the nursing home and back to his own life. He really looked forward to the mornings and I know he enjoyed flirting with all the ladies. He shocked his doctors by his complete recovery and you were a huge reason he was able to do that.
        
You allowed me to leave the housed on a regular basis which meant everything to my physical and mental wellbeing. I could do errands and shopping even when dad didn't feel up to it and I loved not being burdened by the housework. I didn't have to worry about anything when you were there.
        
The most important support you gave both of us was emotional. You gave us genuine caring with hugs, smiles and kind words. Those are the acts that make any words of gratitude seem inadequate. Still all I can do is say thank you from the bottom of my soul.
        
Thank you all. I feel very blessed to have all of you in our family and in my heart.

We have been using Home Instead Senior Care for the last four and a half years to help with care for my mother, Mary.  We are ending service as she now needs a level of care greater than can be supported in our home. 

In thinking back about our experience with Home Instead, my wife and I were reflecting on the excellent support your company provided us over the years.  I would like to share our appreciation with you the providers at Home Instead.   There was never a time a provider who came to our house was unprofessional or untrustworthy, and in most cases, they performed their duties in an outstanding manner.  Additionally, every time we needed help, even last minute requests, Home Instead came through.

Please pass on our thanks for a job well done.  From our perspective, your company knows how to do homecare right.  It???s a very valuable service that fills a need at a very challenging time in life.
