Your Home Instead Senior Care franchise owners, Leslie and Steve Bojorquez, possess a heartfelt desire to work with seniors in their community. They and the full Home Instead team, working out of our local office, located at 5360 Jackson Dr., Suite 120, La Mesa CA 91942, are on call to quickly answer your questions and accommodate your senior services needs.

Leslie Bojorquez - Director of Operations

Leslie brings over 11 years of senior care experience with her. Before purchasing the Home Instead Senior Care franchise with her husband in 1997, Leslie was a office manager/chief scheduler for a residental service provider in Northern California. Leslie has served 6 years on the board for the San Diego Regional Home Care and currently serves as a committee member for the home care aid section and as a committee member for the policy/advocacy and public affairs section with California Association of Health Services at Home (CAHSAH) http://www.cahsah.org She truly believes in helping seniors remain safe and independent in their own homes.

Steve Bojorquez - Operations Manager

Steve was raised in San Diego and has over 11 years of senior care experience. Steve received his bachelor's degree from San Diego State University (SDSU). It was shortly thereafter that he and his wife focused on leading their team to provide the best level of non-medical care to the seniors in their community.

"I saw a need," said Steve, who opened the local La Mesa, CA office with his wife, Leslie. "My grandparents were fortunate enough to be able to stay in there own homes, so why not be part of a service that could help others have the same benefit. Home Instead Senior Care was by far the best opportunity to serve area seniors, wherever they called home."

Joan Justus - Client Care Coordinator

She conducts the home visits to create a plan of care for our clients and conducts Quality Assurance Visits to update, maintain and ensure that our clients care meets or exceeds our standards.

Her compassion for senior care blossomed and has been the driving force to provide the best care for our clients. She truly has the desire for seniors to stay in their homes for as long as possible. Joan knows that this is the best way for them to maintain their dignity and independence.

Yolanda Opio - Service Coordinator

Yolanda has been with us since 2003. She started out as a Home Instead Senior Care CAREGiver and was promoted into the office after caregiving for over a year. Yolanda coordinates the schedules between the client and the CAREGiver.
