A Tradition of Great Caregiving

At Home Instead Senior Care, we reward our local CAREGivers with CAREGiver of the Month and CAREGiver of the Year awards to show our appreciation for all they do. Home Instead, Inc. also recognizes regional CAREGivers of the Year and one special CAREGiver who shows exceptional dedication is the recipient of the national award — The Mary Steibel CAREGiverSM of the Year Award.

This program inspires CAREGivers to strive for excellence. It creates a sense of pride in the fact that the Home Instead Senior CareSM franchise network recognizes, appreciates and rewards their hard work, compassionate care and service to others.


Joan Christensen - 2008 CAREGiver of the Year

Our Heart of the CAREGiver Celebration recognized Joan and each CAREGiver of the Month for 2008 at a recent luncheon held in their honor.  Also attending the celebration were three past recipients of this special recognition.  Each CAREGiver was selected for their compassionate and devoted service to the clients they care for and were eligible for CAREGiver of the Year.
 
Joan's client's sister wrote, I discovered Home Instead Senior Care and found the most caring, wonderful organization that has made my life easier. Since my husband and I live in New York, without Joan my sister would spend her days alone in her room watching TV.  When my sister has been hospitalized, Joan takes her what she needs, but more importantly is her companion and her friend.
Joan received a Crystal Tulip Vase to recognize her outstanding service and to celebrate our 15 year Crystal Anniversary for Home Instead Senior Care, Inc. founded in 1994.
