Dan Pahos, Franchise Owner Dan Pahos is the owner of the Birmingham Home Instead Senior Care franchise. After dealing with long distance elder care issues, while taking care of his parents in MN, Dan decided to resign from his industrial supplies sales position and start up the first Home Instead Senior Care franchise in the state of Alabama. She was born and raised in the Birmingham area. She and her husband of 23 years have three teenage children. Most of her time outside of work is spent taking care of her busy family. Stacey enjoys traveling with her family to watch the kids play soccer and going to the movies. When she is not on the sidelines of the soccer field, you will find her and her husband entertaining a group of kids from church.  Andrea Martin, Operations Manager Andrea Martin has been with Home Instead Senior Care since January 2009. She has been working in the Senior care industry for almost three years. She grew up in Tuscaloosa and went to the University of Alabama where she met her husband Will Martin. They were married in May 2007. When Andrea is not working, she loves spending time with her family, shopping for her nieces, going to the beach and lake, cooking, and she loves chocolate chip cookies! I have been working with the medical geriatric community for over 6 years and am a new member of the Home Instead Senior Care team. I grew up in Florence, Alabama and moved to Birmingham after graduating from The University of North Alabama in 1997. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, going on adventures with my dogs, lounging at the lake or beach and most importantly hanging out with my precious niece and nephews. Megan Gregory, Community Service Representative Megan Gregory has been with Home Instead Senior Care since May 2009 as Community Service Representative! She is a recent graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a B.A. in Communication Management and a Mass Communication Minor. When Megan is not working you will find her spending time with her family, especially her two precious nephews, and friends! Megan also enjoys shopping, watching her favorite TV shows, cooking, decorating and working out at the gym!  Jeanelle Huggins, Director of Client Services Jeanelle Huggins has been with Home Instead Senior Care since March 2006 as Client Services Coordinator. Although she is from the Atlanta area, she decided to stay in Birmingham after graduating from Samford University. Jeanelle has a brother, two sisters and nieces and nephews that she loves to visit and play with! Jeanelle loves singing in her church choir & spending time with friends and family. When not at work, she also enjoys reading, knitting, cooking & eating chocolate!! Jennifer Ronson, RN Client Services Jennifer Ronson has been working for Home Instead Senior Care since October 2008 as Client Service Representative. She is a native of Atlanta, GA where she worked for 10 years as a Registered Nurse. When Jennifer is not working, she enjoys cooking, photography and spending time with her four beautiful children who keep her extremely busy. Jill Ballinger, Manager of Human Resources Jill Ballinger has been with Home Instead Senior Care since January 2005. She started out as the receptionist and is now working in Human Resources. Her and her husband Chad have been happily married for four years. Jill just welcomed a new addition to the family "Baby Jackson!" When she is not working, Jill enjoys going to the movies with her husband, playing with her baby boy and gardening. Jennifer Malone, Staffing Coordinator
Jennifer Malone has been with Home Instead Senior Care since November 2009 as a staffing coordinator. She has been in the staffing industry for 3 years. Jennifer is a graduate from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has been married for 15 years to Mark Malone and they have a 9 year old daughter, Alexandra. When she is not at work she enjoys spending time with family, friends and pets, traveling and camping. Tracey Payne, Staffing Coordinator Tracey Payne has been with Home Instead Senior Care since January 2009 as an on-call staffing coordinator and started working full time in May 2010. Tracey has been working in the medical field for over 18 years. She has a 17 year old son that will graduate from High School in May. When Tracey is not working she enjoys spending time with family, friends and going to the beach and the lake. Dot Johnston, Receptionist
Dot has been with Home Instead since July 2005, working in various capacities, on a part-time basis. She graduated from the University of Alabama with a Degree in Public Relations and has been employed in the Birmingham area since 1980. Dot and her husband, Jim, celebrated 25 years of marriage in August. They are blessed to have two, wonderful children, Katie who is 20, and Edwin who is 16. When not working at Home Instead, she keeps busy with her family and maintaining a balance of spiritual and physical fitness.  Charlotte Fisher, Receptionist Charlotte Fisher has been with Home Instead Senior Care since May 2005 as Receptionist. She lives in the Homewood area and was educated in Birmingham. She has been married for over 30 years and has three children and five grandchildren, which includes a set of twins (Darnecia and Darnell). She enjoys Bible reading and collecting Bible History, concerts, and old movies. Years of working with people has been a true joy for Charlotte. Soon after becoming a part of the Home Instead Senior Care family, Mrs. Fisher received the PEOPLE's Award! |
