A Tradition of Great Caregiving

Each month the Northborough/Natick offices of Home Instead Senior Care chooses one CAREGiver who has demonstrated the traits that we most seek: Dependability, Warmth of personality, Reliability, and the creative ability to go above and beyond for their clients. This CAREGiver is then chosen to represent our offices as the CAREGiver of the month.

Last month's CAREGiver of the month did just that. Upon returning from an errand for her client, Tina found the door locked and her client did not respond to the doorbell or efforts to call her client on the phone. Tina went to her client's apartment complex management office, telephoned the Home Instead Office who then remained on standby to call the client's family. Tina had the apartment management open her client's apartment door where they found her client on the floor, unresponsive. 911 was called, the Home Instead Office notified and family contacted. Many days later, a very appreciative client telephoned the office to thank Tina for persisting in getting into the apartment and getting help. "She saved my life".

Tina followed the protocol established by Home Instead Senior Care. Thank you Tina! You're a great CAREGiver!
