Senior Care Resources in Central New Mexico
We view our Home Instead Senior Care franchise as not only a business, but also a resource for the seniors of the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho metro area. Our office staff is involved in community boards and committees of nonprofit organizations. Throughout the past six years of our Be a Santa to a Senior program, we have provided over 10,000 gifts to needy and lonely seniors in our community partnering with Wal-Marts in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho to make it happen!
As an office, we've "adopted" St. Mary's Rest Home on 7th St. just north of Central in Albuquerque. This facility is home to nearly 30 financially challenged residents, with ages ranging from those in their 50's to others who are over 100. We throw them parties that coincide with different events during the year, leading them with singing, activities, and, of course, food!
We were the New Mexico 2009 Corporate Chairs of the Alzheimer's Memory Walk, and continued our partnership by participating in the 2010 Walk. Not only do we field our walk team each year, but we also solicit donations from other companies and organizations with the community. As a franchise, we're one of the leading supporters of the Alzheimer's Association. As a team, we raised nearly $10,000 in the last several years!
