Sid Jay - Owner

Being the owner of three local Home Instead Senior Care offices in Lexington, Salisbury and Concord, I fully apreciate the challenges that our seniors and their families are facing.

As I was researching options for my own parents care, I was introduced to the Home Instead Senior Care family. With their clear values and leadership role as the provider of choice in the senior care industry, I was inspired to open an office of my own. My goal, of course, was to help seniors and families in our community cope with the challenges of aging at home. More specifically, to help seniors stay "home instead" of having to relocate.

I have learned a lot since opening our doors in 2003, but nothing as important as this: our seniors deserve the loving, compassionate and quality care that comes from a Home Instead CAREGiver. With their help, you can stop worrying and enjoy your time with your loved ones.

Over the years our local offices have helped over a thousand seniors maintain their independence and age gracefully in their own homes. Give us a call when you are ready for help. Shanna Jay - Co-Owner/Operations Manager

 
Shanna started working with Home Instead Senior Care in August of 2007, starting out as a Community Service Representative for the Concord office. She has since been instrumental in the opening and continued growth of the Lexington office, working as Operations Manager. Being the granddaughter of a Home Instead Senior Care client, Shanna knows how important our care becomes to seniors and their families. This is one reason she is so committed and passionate about making a difference in the lives of seniors in our community by helping them remain in their homes with non-medical support.   

Chris Sterling - Community Service Representative

 
Chris joined our team to continue educating Davidson and Davie Counties on the important services that Home Instead Senior Care provides. Chris spent several years working for a Home Instead office in Massachusetts before moving to Davidson County. She believes wholeheartedly in the services our company provides and is proud of how our caring and dedicated CAREgivers make a difference in the lives of seniors and their family members.

Anna Reardon, BSW - Director of Client Care

 
When Anna joined the Home Instead Senior Care team she brought with her a passion to assist aging adults. With a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Campbell University she knows the focus and dedication it takes to make a difference in the lives of seniors.  Anna's role is to ensure the overall satisfaction of our clients through our unique Quality Assurance program. Because of her extensive knowledge of the senior care industry, we encourage you to contact Anna should you have any questions regarding the care of your loved ones!

Tammy Isenhour, RN - Registered Nurse

 
Tammy plays a vital role in the direct care of our clients as well as the training of our CAREGiver staff. Together, with our Director of Client Care, she ensures that our clients needs are being met. Tammy has experienced a wonderful career as a Registered Nurse working in the Critical Care Unit as well as with Oncology patients. She comes to Home Instead Senior Care with years of experience under her belt and is excited about this new chapter in her life!
 
 

Gail Johnston - Staff Coordinator

 
Gail joined our staff in September of 2009 as our Staff Coordinator. She matches our CAREGivers with our clients to ensure the utmost compatibility and satisfaction! Prior to coming to work for Home Instead, she worked at AT&T/BellSouth until retiring in 2009. Gail says she loves working at Home instead Senior Care and that it has taught her about the value of compassionate care and how to recognize the need for a service such as ours.

Jennifer Wright - Recruitment and Retention Coordinator

 
As the Recruitment and Retention Coordinator, Jennifer's role is to find the very best CAREGivers for your loved ones.  She thoroughly screens each of our applicants before approving them for our extensive training program.  Jennifer's background in the health care field provides her with the knowledge and experience to excel at hiring and managing our CAREGiver staff. She is excited to be part of the Home Instead Senior Care team!    

 


Janice Smith - Community Service Assistant

 
Janice Smith has worked with Home Instead Senior Care as a devoted CAREGiver for 3 years. She loves her work of providing care to our local seniors on a daily basis. She says her clients make as big of a difference in her life as she makes in theirs. Janice decided to expand her role with Home Instead when she was offered the opportunity to assist our staff in our marketing efforts. She is really enjoying educating the community on the important services that Home Instead provides!
