Home Instead Senior Care
Franklin

I want to thank you so much for your attention to detail and let you know how very much we appreciate the flexibility of your staff. Every caregiver you have sent our way has been especially wonderful, professional and most of all caring. We find the caregivers easy to work with and enjoy their company as much as my mom does.

Home Instead Senior Care franchise owners are chosen because they possess a heartfelft desire to work with seniors in their community.  This is the reason why Beth Shelton and Drew Shelton chose to partner with Jamie Patterson, their former office manager, to provide personalized care to the Franklin, Bellevue and surrounding communities and their families.

Our Support Staff puts the value of people first.

We continue to honor our core values:

   1. To Honor God in All We Do
   2. To Treat Each Other with Dignity and Respect
   3. To Encourage Growth in Ourselves and Others
   4. To Build Value in Our Service to Others

Jamie Patterson - Operating Owner

Although her hair style has changed, her values and commitment to her community, clients and CAREGivers has not.  Jamie has a passion - make sure no one has to give up their role as daughter, son, husband, or wife. "No matter how old we get, we still need for our parents to remain our parents, and our spouse to  remain our spouse" Jamie says. “I am committed to telling everyone about the wonderful care Home Instead CAREGivers provide every day."
Jamie started as a CAREGiver with Home Instead Senior Care Nashville in 2001.  At that time, she had been a family CAREGiver for her husband's parent for 4+ years.  There had been several hospital stays, and numerous home health agencies visiting their home.   At the end of the day, Jamie was exhausted and mentally fatigued.  She started looking for a part-time job where she could make a difference and enjoy being "Jamie" again.  She answered an ad for CAREGivers at Home Instead Senior Care.  The rest is history.  In only 6 short months, Jamie was invited to become a part of Home Instead Nashville’s management team as a part-time administrative assistant.  She later became involved in educating the community about Home Instead Senior Care services.  Her passion allowed her to quickly be promoted to Staff Coordinator and then Office Manager.  In 2007, Beth Shelton and her son, Drew approached Jamie with the opportunity to operate her own franchise and share her passion while providing the outstanding service Home Instead Senior Care is known for world-wide. Home Instead Senior Care on Lewisburg Pike has been caring for the seniors of Williamson County and surrounding communities since 2007.   "We are making a difference in the community with programs and events such as Be a Santa to a Senior, Operation Medicine, Memory Walk, Senior Day at the Williamson County Fair, NHC Golf tournaments, Home Instead Senior Care foundation grants, just to name a few," Jamie said.
"My staff and I love our community. I would like to thank God, Home Instead, Inc, Beth Shelton and Drew Shelton for this opportunity to provide personalized assistance to seniors and improve their quality of life.”

Drew Shelton - Owner

After several years in the service industry, Drew became aware of the numerous difficulties seniors faced trying to maintain their independence when his grandfather was placed in a nursing facility.  He began investigating other options for this group of often forgotten people.  Home Instead Senior Care was the answer.  Together with his mother, Beth Shelton, they opened the Nashville Home Instead Senior Care franchise in 1998.  The success and rapid growth of the Nashville office led to the expansion of a Franklin Home Instead Senior Care franchise in October 2007.

Beth Shelton - Owner

Beth saw firsthand how difficult advancing age was when her father's physical condition mandated a change in his lifestyle.  From her years as a nurse, she realized how important one-on-one care is to anyone, especially someone who is losing their independence.  Partnering with her son, Drew, in their Nashville Home Instead Senior Care franchise offered Beth the opportunity to provide that "little help from a friend" to hundreds of seniors.  Beth feels fortunate to have the chance to expand the valuable service to the rapidly growing Franklin area.
