The Lou Ruvo Brain Institute will comprise approximately 67,000 square feet of space within the structure. The medical and scientific work of the institute will be housed in a staggered, multi-level platform of offices, with 31,000 square feet devoted to clinical care, a diagnostic center, neuroimaging rooms, and an area set aside for clinical research.
The world's first interactive museum The Museum of the Mind will take up nearly 7,000 square feet with a focus on the mind and the brain.
A library, public cafe and offices for Keep Memory Alive, the local Alzheimer's Association, the ALS Foundation and the American Parkinson's Association will also have administrative offices at the Institute. For more information www.keepmemoryalive.org
