Dedicated to Serving Tucson Seniors & Family Caregivers
With over twelve years of experience, Home Instead Senior Care Tucson stands as a knowledgeable community resource for individuals whose lives have been affected by Alzheimer's and dementia. The organization believes that the need for trusted Alzheimer's care and services is at its all-time highest. Research has found a strong correlation between older age and the risk for developing Alzheimer's. As the average life expectancy continues to increase, the incidence of Alzheimer's disease will not fail to reach epidemic proportions. In fact, it has been quoted that "about 5 percent of men and women ages 65 to 74 have Alzheimer's disease, and nearly half of those age 85 and older may have the disease" (National Institute of Health, 2007).*
In order to better serve the needs of seniors and their families, Home Instead Senior Care Tucson has implemented the corporate-produced Alzheimer's CAREGiver Training Program. The program gives CAREGivers the knowledge and skills which will further enable them to professionally and confidently assist seniors living with the disease. To find out more about our excellent training program, use the link on the right, "Our Alzheimer's Training Program."
