Home Instead in Salt Lake City has been serving seniors in Utah since 1996. Our franchise is bonded, insured, and licensed (both in business and personal care). We are a proud member of the Better Business Bureau and the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP). We also belong to the National Alzheimer Association. In addition, we are pleased to belong to the Utah Home Care Association.

Home Instead is a service provider to the Salt Lake County Aging Services.

Our mission is to provide care with the most trusted CareGiver staff in the business. We only hire caring staff after they have been through an exhaustive background examination conducted through the FBI. Business and personal references are carefully investigated.

Our CareGivers are dispersed throughout the greater Salt Lake City-Ogden area. This gives us the ability to meet family needs at all hours with very short notice.

Rita Garbett

Rita is a co-owner of our Salt Lake City franchise. She has a background in teaching and education and a passion for serving seniors. Rita is very active in our community.
 
Rita oversees the human resource activities of our office and manages daily requirements of our business.

Sam Davis

Sam is co-owner and General Manager. Marketing and Business Development are her areas of concentration. She is involved in daily face-to-face contacts with current and prospective clients to coordinate all aspects of care.
 
Her personal care of her recently deceased father gives her particular insight into the needs and challenges of CareGiving.
